HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR POPPIES 

Pro tip: Burn poppy stem ends to make them open and last longer🔥 

Here are the steps to prepping poppies before you use them
1. Cut the stem with a sharp cut.
2. Burn 2 cms of the stem from the bottom, over a flame from a candle for about 20 seconds. Or - you can blanch stem ends (2 cm) in boiling water for 30 seconds.
3. Place immediately in fresh water. (Don’t put them in too much water, 1-2 inches is plenty)
